AITSL wanted to understand what the Educator of the Future would look like in the face of rapid technological, social and political change. Automation, a changing labour market and technological innovation present key challenges to teaching and learning in the 21st century that will transform the education system.
YLab delivered the 'Educator of the Future' Insights Report. The purpose of this report was to provide AITSL with insight into the following question: Given the changing world of work, what does the Educator of the Future look like?
The report forms the preliminary research findings that will lead to a larger research project. Young people’s views, opinions and lived experience formed the basis of the personas and will be used to inform further research into this topic.
We put young people at the center of generating research that will influence the educator of the future.
We brought together a team of Associates and a Director, who came together to design with a background of diverse lived experience and expertise.
