Morgan has worked within the community sector for the past ten years in a range of policy, advocacy and service development roles. Dedicated to transforming traditional ways of doing advocacy, her work centres the lived experiences of those whose voices aren't traditionally heard to influence social and systemic change.
She advises organisations on the role of power in their global and local contexts and supports them to meaningfully partner with people with lived experiences of socioeconomic disadvantage to design and shape better policies, services and practice.
Morgan is currently the Senior Manager Youth Engagement at Berry Street, one of Australia’s largest independent family service organisations. In her role here, Morgan leads organisational and sector discourse and development in relation to lived experience work, youth engagement and knowledge exchange practices with young people.
At YLab, Morgan works on THE OASIS Homelessness Project as the Lived Experience Lead.
